Exxxtralovable OK, so this might be a dumb question, but was extralovable written for, or ever coverd by the time? cuz this is SUCH a time song!(even tho that can be taken many ways)...

It was originally written for Vanity 6's second album. But from some of the shit P says in the cut makes a cat wonder if he had ANY intention for anybody to do it. Granted, I know he could easily edit shit out. The stuff with "Dez, don't u like my band?" and of course the "don't make me rape u" would go if Vanity 6 had released it. I love Extralovable - anything around the 1999 period of time is my favourite Prince - he was such rebel and didn't give a fuck. I love the Dez line cause it's so cocky.He was totally backing himself creatively at this time and well on the way to his masterpiee "1999". | |
