Why hasn't Prince started his own clothes line?

Nowadays it seems like music and fashion goes together like a hand in silk gloves. Every since the late seventies, eighties and nineties Prince has come across many different style and fashions I think would've rocked the vh1 fashion awards lol. Does anybody remember the butt out pants booty! That would've been a levi jeans classic. J Lo would've been rocking that stlye in all her "Booty" videos. I think that if Prince do decide to have his own fashion line, it would probably be for woman clothing and acceroies, they would be silmilar to versace and Doclhe and Gabana, at last but not least it would've be called "NEW FASHION" All written in a heart shape.
This is all just from my own twisted imagination. I don't know if Prince really would've consider this at all. All I know is if there was a such thing, I most defintely would be wearing his stlye in fashion ... I'm wearing a Love for another t shirt right yes.

May u live to see the danw .

He did used to sell clothing from Helen Horatio a long time ago and some other designer. Don't know why he never did that yet. I'd like to see what he would come up with for woman to wear.

I don't know about the US,but here in the UK,in about 91/92,he hooked up with a 'clothes company'(I use that term VERY loosely!)and they brought out a load of T-shirts and other crap.I got a Sexy MF shirt-its actually kinda cool-but wouldn't wear it-not THAT cool!!!
There was a line of clothes for the laydeees too-that was a bit more risque, lots of flesh and fishnet if I remember, modelled by Diamond and Pearl!

if you want to dress like Prince, there are already plenty of styles of pajamas to be bought off the rack.

Are T-shirts supposed to be "fashion" now??? neutral

There's a huge difference between starting a clothing line & putting out some friggin' T-shirts...

Heavenly

Prince does sell a few shirts on his site, but the funky cloths that he's wearing only look good on him, so no point in letting others wear them

He could make a great line of Woman's clothes though. He has a Flair for fashion and he could do it for woman or even Women's lingerie. Why hasn't he come out with "PRINCESS WEAR?" He should have done it back in the day with Vanity6 and the Purple Rain time. He could have had lingerie and lacy stuff like those fingerless gloves. I don't know if that would fly now Unless he sells it to his Fans/Members or if he gets back on the Charts Big Time again. Depending on whether he's gonna keep this Religious Stance or go Dirty again.

Santana came out with his own ladies shoe line after his big comeback. If Santana can do it, Prince can do it. But it will only work if he has a big comeback with an album in the charts.

He could have cashed in during Purple Rain by selling the lace gloves and "poet's shirts" but he didn't.

Unless you're as small as Prince, you're not going to look good in his outfits. Take a look at some of the Prince impersonators and you'll see why.
