Thats what Prince always sings about he yearns for that real intense love hence mountains...you and me, singing away on his floating carpet with wendy looking like an angel!

I thought it odd when i went to see it but love it even more know, a fum film that is tongue in cheek not meant serious at all. Its very funny in parts too: 'we caint have the same daddy im caramel and u is choclate or words to that effect and the eyeballin too funny for words.

Take it with a pinch of salt and watch again as a good insite into Princes humour.


As for the album lovin it I go crazy if i ear girls and boys or indeed kiss, superb stuff. anotherlover is just so good.


its in my car its in my mac it travels with e that one, u can revisit it so many times, pull singles out as standalones or listen from beginning to end and see the story unfold and conclude - brilliant

Was my favourite album for many years, and the only way to listen to it is 'a la lovesexy' with no breaks. My favourite bit is the start of Mountains.
Great album, and unlike anything else I have ever heard by anyone. Like it follows different structures and drifts in such a cool way. It's amazing.

Parade is Magic.

I guess a lot of the, Parade era...has just aged, and it's not the sentiment, that I have with Prince's other records...because Prince was overseas...and I was hurt...I didn't want Prince to turn into a gigolo and make a movie about it...We already knew his potential...It just rubbed the pain in...as the distance between a girl and a boy grew...I always loved Prince no matter who he was dating or who I was dating...Life just tore us apart.

I often felt like that album was like my favorite cookie from his cookie jar..I think he does his most inspired work when he's multi tasking...directing, acting, composing, playing, shooting videos, managing side projects, fighting with his band and his lover.
