don't you think Prince would show a little more gratitude to his fams? I mean one song is pretty chintzy.

Has he properly responded to all this or is the song still his response? Does anyone know?

he is 50,rich and spoiled/perhaps i expect little from him

Anxiety

beck usually puts a new album out every two to three years.

the last bowie album came out in 2003.

kate bush's last album was in 2005, and her last album before THAT was way back in the early '90s.

nobody can even REMEMBER when the last sade album came out. lol

if prince skips a year of putting out a new album now and then, he's certainly earned the right. there's still stuff that i could be digging into that i haven't really absorbed as much as i could, because there's SO MUCH prince stuff out there. so it's no biggie to me if this turns out to be a dry year in prince world.

Are you still feasting off it? Did you expect him to give you, as supporters, more of what you wanted? Did you expect an avalanche of new songs? Are you happy he hasn't said one peep since releasing that song? I just can't believe people were bought off so easily lol

Personally, I'm glad I wasn't wooed and that I don't really care about Prince's future exploits lol

nod

After the lackluster trilogy that was Musicology/3121/Planet earth...I say he should take a few years off and travel around the world a bit. Get some inspiration. Come back in 2012 and release an album on December 21st titled "Armagedon".

What more do you want from Prince?

A little less energy worrying about websites like this one, a little less fear of dancing babies on You Tube and a few more songs like FUNK. Downloads from the website that we could buy.

That'd be a good place to start.
