The first time I listened to this I thought, "hmm yeah that's ok"...but I put this on the ol' turntable yesterday and have played it several times! Now I love Mountains to bits as many of you do AND the extended version is great but this is a real gem! Whadyathink? | |

It's definitely a great song. I wish it had been on the Parade album. Along with "God", "Venus de Milo" and "Honest Man" (which also should've been on Parade), it's my favorite instrumental by Prince. | |

It's one of the rare cases where I like the short version of a B side better than the extended version. It's a smooth, happy jam. The extended version's middle is a little off to me. | |

High-End Prince Music
I was just listening to Parade, wow expensive sounding lol It was really cool to hear that Prince was moving forward leaps and bounds ahead of anything else in contempory music at the time.
