GRAFFITI BRIDGE TRAILOR: 2 Scenes doesn't look familiar...

I found the old trailor for Graffiti Bridge but the opening 10 second scene and the scene at 1:05 with Prince in the white outfit does not look familiar at all and I've seen this movie a good 100 times. I'ts one of my all time favorites! I hate Purple Rain.

Here is the summary:

Graffiti Bridge is the unofficial sequel to Purple Rain. In this movie, The Kid and Morris Day are still competitors and each runs a club of his own. They make a bet about who writes the best song and the Kid's club is on the line. But the Kid has become a brooding character who writes letters to his dead father and ponders spirituality. Under the Graffiti Bridge in the park, he meets Aura, an angel-like poet with whom he falls in love. Once again, Morris tries to steal his girl, and in the end, she dies in a tragic accident. But not in vain, she has given the Kid his edge back, and Morris gives in and lets him keep the club after hearing the moving ballad the Kid composed.

But can someone please tell me if those 2 scenes are in the actual movie:

I can't really go into detail now and I'm on the fly, but there were a lot of fantasy scenes in that movie that never saw the final cut. I think the movie was more original and less calculated as a concept than how it actually ended up on film. That is why we have the unique and quirky cover art on the Graffiti Bridge poster and album inserts.

Yeah, I like Graffiti Bridge! Visually it looks great. I enjoy the "old fashion" movie stage sets and the color tones of the film. The music is SLAMMING and the concept is interesting.

Some of the acting is less than desirable but, I didn't go into it back in '90 expecting "Godfather" quality performances.

All in all, PRINCE has an incredible style and eye for directing and composing shots. Under the Cherry Moon and Sign O The Times show that as well.

I was disappointed that WB didn't release a directors cut or add more extras including deleted scenes and behind the scene/making of the film for both GB and UTCM. Heck they do it for a lot of other movies successful or not. : (

Man! I wish Prince would direct or at least produce another feature film.

Graffiti Bridge ROCKS!

You mean there are deleted scenes "on the cutting room floor" that nobody has ever seen? Are they locked up in Prince's vault too?
