Hey, with Prince being 50 this year in June, I wonder will this year see anything special by him. The Croke Park concert is a week or so later, but I wonder will he do anything musically really interesting this year - album of flutes, normal album, proper tour etc?

It would definitely light up the summer...

Is this another way of asking "when is the next Prince album comin out?"

time flies, but - he must be the funkiest 50 yr old around.

It's amazing really, P, MJ and Madonna all turning the big 50 this year. Time really does fly....

I'm sure that Prince will play a surprise warm-up gig somewhere before Croke(sp?).

His birthday is 6-7-8...and June 6,7,8 is on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

True on the birthday thing. But he's done a lot of June or June-ish things over the years.

I don't care when he actually does it. Just so he does it.

Well, thanks...but it's true. I mean...the celebrations were in June. The Musicology Tour hit Minneapolis in June. And he did the 7-7-7 show last year. (Which I didn't get to attend, dammitallanyway.)

So it's not like a June show (or shows) in Minneapolis would establish some bizarre precedent.
