3121 is 2 years old; Take the 3121 poll! 
3121 came out 2 years ago, today. Wow!  It's a pretty good album.  Prince recorded it from 2004-2005 & the album length is 53'42". Produced by Prince, released by NPG Records & distributed by Universal Records.  U can still visit the website http://www.3121countdown.com. Anyway, pleaze choose your 5 favorite songs from the 3121 album. Your choices are:

In the case of Prince's albums it ain't that bad; he has not made a coherent album since The Rainbow Children, when it comes to albums that not sound like just a bunch of songs out of the vault re-recorded. Prince has lost his schtick for creating something in the now, like Parade or SOTT and make it sound relevant. Anyways, I looooove MP3's and the digital age. It sure made collecting easier. And I love the way you can make playlists, edits and remixes yourself these days; you can personalise your listening experience. http://prince.org/msg/7/265007 I these days have playlists for Prince ballads, rock songs, funk songs, his songs for sundays, , best of live, best of outtakes, re-create Dream Factory, etc, amended album playlists; like the Parade album with all the b-sides and extended and outtakes. I actually think 3121 was pretty good. Some of the tracks are strong and my favorites would be '3121', 'Black Sweat', 'Love', 'Fury' and 'Beautiful, Loved and Blessed'. There's Joy In Expatriation. | |
