Which song would you like to see prince cover?

If you could choose any song you think prince would do a great cover version off what would it be? Id go for nobody does it better from the spy who loved me. I just think it suits princes persona to a tee.

"Home Computer" by Kraftwerk: Love it when Prince experiments with technology.

Any of Jimi H's more well-known pieces: All along the Watchtower, Little Wing... That would be awesome!

I also (call me sick) would love him to do naughty versions of ABBA's "Dancing Queen" or "Does you mother know that you're out"; those lyrics could be sung VERY differently

Didn't he do that one at the Super Bowl? Or am I mistaken?

Didn't Mean To Turn You On.

I know his ego would never allow him to cover a Jam&Lewis track, but we can but dream...

Could be - I'm in Europe and with all the taking down of online videos I haven't managed to see the whole Superbowl performance yet! Will have to look harder... smile

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

The song was written by Jackson and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and produced by Jam and Lewis. Jackson helped with the lyrics of the song and was credited as a "co-producer" on the song (According to Wikipedia).

A Beatles song, so he can pay proper tribute to one of his influences.

I think his version of honkey tonk was a bit more wonky than honkey neutral
