Not sure I could actually call it a meeting (although I have) saw him by the cars on the last night of 02 (Sept 21) he came up to the gates (inches from us) and walked along with his hand brushing the fence and looked each and every person in the eye and said thank you and I said thank you back - so maybe that counts as a meeting - saw him there a few times over the summer. And also got a LOOK at Vegas which was pretty startling !!! and saw him come out at the end of Koko in Camden and waved !!!

Well.... We were hanging around after 1 of the gigs and got chatting 2 these guys (dont know who they were really) - but they worked 4 prince !
They offered us to tag along with them 2 the afterparty, which was handy as we didnt know where it was - so we more or less jumped on em
We danced next 2 him on the dancefloor - close enuff 2 almost smell his breath!!
If I remember correctly, 1 of my friends was brave enuff 2 talk 2 him - but I cant remember wat he said - the nite seemed 2 go on 4 hours I was just like

My husband touched his hand at the last nite of the 02. We were just hanging around in our seats while the crows went nuts throwing there glo stix at each other and then suddenly the band came back out and every one on the floor rushed over to the tunnel the security guys had made and prince walked thru with his hand out in the air to hi 5 everyone. then i noticed that my husband had dived over and gotten in the front!! I was so jeleous!!!

I love an opportunity to share my 3121 after party story...My friend and I were the last 2 people taken in to the small after party room at the 3121 restaurant. As the hostess was seating us she said the seats weren't together and asked who was the bigger fan. I was, so she seated me at the table on the front near the side where Prince would be coming out. The band was playing and everyone was up and dancing then...to my right, I heard the unmistakable voice of Prince. He was standing right next to me talking to one of his people!! 3 inches from my shoulder just listening to his band with the rest of us. He went on to play in a little while and then put his guitar down and a man at my table high fived him...I thought "who does he think he is just high fiving Prince?" Then I realized it was Paul Schaffer from the Late Show with David Letterman! As the night went on Prince would play and sing a while, then he would just sit in the floor in front of my table and listen to the band. He was always within a few feet of me. When the show was over, he was standing at the wall in front of me where he had been sitting in the floor...I looked right at him...and said...NOTHING!!!! What an idiot!! He was within touching and talking distance of me all night and nothing...Sure, now it makes perfect sense that "Hello" or "Thanks for the show" would have been appropriate but at the moment I totally blanked. Oh to have that night back!!

My daughter sang with him a couple times on the Musicology tour. He took great care of her, so I will always speak highly of the man.

...i was scarred to death. I thought I wasn't good enough. I met him twice tho, and we talk all the time on the phone. He's the most charming of all my friends.

I was glad when he got married, but i fell in love with him years later.

We can only be friends tho, cause maybe I'm too tall, and maybe somewhat thick for his taste. But he's beeen my confidant forever, and sex would probably ruin that.

If we ever got together tho, it would be a hot ghetto mess.

This is really great stuff! Its so fun to read about people actually interacting with him! It's such a surreal experience because it's like your thinking, wow! I listen to his music all the time, see him on tv, concerts...and now he is right in front of me, near me, and I just touched, spoek to him! OOO, ad I LOVE seeing the bandmembers also. I get so everytime they come out and start the show or have solos.
