Closest 2 Perfection?

When Prince finally releases an album, it's perfect in his eyes. When it reaches his idea of perfection, he's ready to part with it and let the public savor his latest creation.

Even I don't believe Prince is perfect and none of his albums are 100% perfection. I say: "Nothing in this world is perfect and if something is perfect, its not of this world."

hmmm maybe that's where they get the phrase "it's out of this world" from.

Every thing he's written has a flaw in it somewhere, but the question I pose is which album do u think is closest to that idea of perfect?

I have a couple I'd like to offer up, but actually, I'd like to say that "Dirty Mind" is one of them. Every track is a good track and it serves its purpose on the album. Each one has its place, which is ironic considering that the tracks were a bunch of demos Prince had lying around the house lol

Do any of u think 1999, Purple Rain, SoTT, Parade or any of his 90's albums could be the closest 2 perfection of any of his albums? cool
had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

That's ridiculous, Prince has released many albums for nothing more than because he was under contract to do so. Prince himself has told how he was not happy with "Parade" and wish he had spent more time on it before releasing it. What the heck are you talking about? confused

some say the stars know better than the man in the moon,
and that may be true,
but who would light your way at night without him?
the sun and the moon are perfect for each other,
while some people prefer the day to the night,
they balance each other out
and that would seem to be
perfection to me.

SOTT is perfect. One Nite Alone is damn close to perfection.

At least for me...
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

He didn't like the Black Album...that's why he pulled it and released Lovesexy. I'm just sayin'. lurking

I think artistically, SOTT is the closest to perfection; but, commercially, it's definitely Purple Rain.
