Inspired by a George Clinton show that was out here in L.A in 83, P was like "Fuck this...I gotta get to the studio before I forget this groove!". I remember vividly when this was released. The b-side to Let's Go Crazy. P was everywhere. Every car on the street was playing this. White, black, latino, Asian and everybody else under the sun was bumping this in 84. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
