the crappy 'mirror lens' I read this somewhere when it came to When Doves Cry on stage... This may sound very stupid but were there mirrors on stage or was just a camera trick during When Doves Cry on the video "Prince and the Revolution Live!"? Prime aka The Kid

It was Big Chick holding up a very large mirror to outdo Jerome and Morris. 
It was edited AFTERWARDS, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. | |

It was edited AFTERWARDS, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry but your wrong it wasnt edited it remained I owned it for a long time till I got rid of it(VHS version). During the song it DID have the mirror effect( I hated it IMHO). It ruined the "Live" feel to the video, IMHO as well. Now AFTER that version(IF there is one) it could of been edited out ( I dont know I didnt own that one). Smurf theme song-seriously how many fucking "La Las" can u fit into a dam song

To give the real answer.... No, there weren't any mirrors on stage. The mirror
effect was put on when the video of the show was released commercially. When the show was originally broadcast on television (before the video was released) there was no mirror effect during that song. | |
