I just watched Grafitti Bridge.....

I just watched Grafitti Bridge for the first time in years. I'd not watched it for so long, as I'd remebered it to be rubbish!!! but I LOVED IT!!!! All that dancing, and smouldering looks - yummy - anyone else agree?

I think my IQ dropped a little after watching GB. I thought it was a pile of doody. The bridge looked like one that trolls would hang out under. It was awful. I thought maybe Prince's sexy ass could make it worth while but I don't care for the long, straight hair and he looks anemic as fuck. I tried to like it. I really did. I still love Purple Rain, bad acting and all. shrug

oh my wordness!
i watched this recently! i gave in coz thought i might b missing something.
wtf! his long hair was the last of my worries.

disbelief & falloff all at the same time & best 2 watch after a few drinks.
ingrid chav was trying 2 hard 2 b sweet & imo, despite his outfit choices & even the mick jacksonesque dancee moves, the film would have been better if prince had short hair.

there is no doubt in my mind! this would have made this film a whole lot sexierrrr bunny
i though morris day & posse very funny tho.
best 2 remember tho that graffiti bridge just a extravagant promo!

The acting may be terrible and some of the sequences cringworthy.....but.....

From the very first time I watched it right up til now, I still LOVE the whole Tick, tick, bang sequence!!!

From when the fireworks 'pop' til the last "Bang!"

I watched it earlier this week too, first time in ages, and there's a lot to praise if you like unintentionally bad movies.

There's a lot of 'WTF did that happen?!' moments, but that's how you enjoy it. Anyone watching GB as a great slice of storytelling, well..... wacky

Baby, dogs travel in packs of seven, and you BETTER watch out for this one!!... and Jesse Johnson is just standing their like a lemon.

Robin Power makes that film for me, she is pure class. cool

"Just let him have the club Morris!" is one of the best badly delivered lines in the film!

I am a lover of unintentionally bad films.....that are so bad they're good!

Flash Gordon, Showgirls, R Kellys In the Closet!!!!! eek

The ending is classic, I mean who the hell was the guy who killed Aura? He just gets in a jeep and slams his foot to the pedal!

Seeing the Steeles running upto her body is great, in their gaudy black and gold bedsheet outfits and 1990 hair do's is a treat, and then the ambulance arrives in about 10 seconds (having God as your employer must give the BEST medical insurance).

Plus the bridge! Oh my God, the bridge is about 6ft across, about the same high making it ridiculously steep, and all it's bridging this tiny trickle of water!

In the scene where Morris and Aura meet at the bridge, if you watch Morris Day's face when he says "it's such a lovely day" as he looks around the tiny fake set, you can see it's with a wink in his eye!
