I say this as an original Family Guy supporter, a guy who sung its praises for the two years after it was canceled and before dvds were released, American Dad is a far superior show to Family Guy in every way. It actually tries to develop storylines instead of relying on cutscene jokes every 30 seconds. The characters are far better fleshed out, the show is hilarious and deserves huge praises. Side note: In another episode, it is noted, that Francine's favourite song is Little Red Corvette
