From what I've read, he has been dodging this question, as anything that he said about them would probably be taken out of contxt. I can't say that I blame him for this.

I think Prince feels that his music and his style is superior to the aforemention artists. I can't speak for Prince because I don't persoanlly know him, but I kind of get that vibe from him.

I agree with guarinigirl2000.

I have heard Prince say that he has great respect for Michael and Madonna both. Prince has enough class not to bad mouth any other artists at least publicly. Prince is REALLY a classy human being.

You're not wrong, just got a few facts mixed up. It was VH1, the special where hijacks the station. I remember they played The Good Life and Count The Days (which at the time, and even now, think are somewhat weak songs).

The Madonna song that they dissed was either Take A Bow or You'll See, from her "Something To Remember" CD. It was a long time ago!
