Well, you can't fault him for trying to spread the blame. shrug
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Where is it credited to Prince & The New Power Generation? I think the spine etc. just say Prince.

One Nite Alone... Live! was credited to Prince & The New Power Generation, though.

the spine only has the record label details on it, inside ehind the cd are the uual words : produced, composed... by Prince & The New Power Generation instead of just prince.

pehaps he did this as the band played loas on the album, although songs like mr goodnight and fbm are obviously just prince with the twins and shelby on backing

Prince played nearly all the parts on the 'Planet Earth' album, with guest appearances peppered here and there.

I've been more detailed in older threads.

4 example, Josh and Cora aren't even on the album.

Michael Bland is on drums 4 the title song... rest of drums R Prince.

I love the album, and had a large thread 4 the 'Planet Earth' lovers a while back.

Peace,

~G
