If I love you tonight?

Stumbled on an import cool that sounds like it was made during the for you/ prince era. There was a song called " If I love you tonight" The vocalist does not sound like Lisa. Who is this woman singing on this song?

First of all I love your pic. Lets get that out of the way.

Second I would not mind hearing the Mica version this is a beautiful song. It is this Mica version of the song an 'import' cool or is it commercially available?

The Mica Paris version was on her 1991 album "Contribution". (no longer in print but you can probably find it used)

The Mayte version (if you care) was on her "Child of the Sun" Album". (Import)

I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.

You can also find the Mayte version on 1-800-NEW-FUNK which is also out of print and being used to hold up the short end of peoples' couches. I personally like the Mica Paris version better.

falloff

I think the Rebels, Gayle Chapman vocal version is my favourite, it's much more sleazy and downbeat.

P.S. It's totally fine to discuss unreleased material, just not how or where to get it, so you don't have to use the euphemism "import". smile

Here on earth, here on earth,
