As I became a member to Prince.org, I also Became aware of The many different taste we all have in music and the many different reason as to why we all like Prince. Unlike most artist/musicians today, Prince's music has no boundaries. It doesn't allinates anybody, because of sex,race,age or religion. It is just good music that makes you feel good and unites everyone together, regardless of nationality or creed. Prince music has always been positive and opened my eyes to alot of things I wouldn't have been able to see otherwise. I learned how to except real music and recognize a true musisican when I hear one and this is the reason why I became fan. To me it's not about How good he looks, me wanting to sleep with him or even hook up with him at that matter, it's just that I think and believe he is and will always be one of the greatest musicians of our time. He's been in the music business for over twenty yrs. We mind as face it, Prince will make some stuff that's going to suck, and some stuff that's going to rock your world, however. You must ask your self will you stop being a fan just, because he makes album with tunes and a sound your not familiar with?
I think this is the reason why prince is such a great musician, because regardless if he made something we thought sucked or not, he still made music, just becuase of the love he had for it, rather we understood or not. How many musicains do you think will take the chance on creating a new material just to see how it flys by with the audience. Not to many. That is why The music indutrsy sucks today, because there's not to many people willing to take the chance on creating something new and inventing. They would much rather except the fact of people narrow minds and continue to make meaningless music. So the question is for today

The albums Controversy, 1999, Sign O The Times and Lovesexy make me the Prince fan that I am. Every minute of these ones is mind blowing to me

I'm a fan because of Prince's incredible talent
to make good orginal music that makes you look
at the world in a different way.

His music is rooted in R&B,soul,funk,rock,and rap,
yet he can make it his own sound.

He has an incredible vocal range,and can play
numerous instruments.

Another thing that makes me a fan is that he's not
commercially popular anymore.I like that,it means
that people who listen to Prince music today are
in a majority and a real fans regardless of what he
produces.

I enjoy living vicariously through him... ever since I was 12 years old -- 20 years ago. Yeah, I do have my own life, but it's also fun to see what Prince is up to, and it doesn't hurt that he's an incredible songwriter and musician. As a songwriter myself, who better to follow? I do see a lot of myself in him... a connection in some ways, definitely spiritually and musically; though, I keep my sexuality much more private -- just between me and my girlfriends... and God. I'm nowhere near as fanatical as I used to be -- but I think I will always feel the need to see what he's doing from time to time. The human condition.

Why am I a fan? Well simply put. Nobody creates better Music then Prince,Nobody is as Exciting as Prince, Nobody is More Gorgeous than Prince and Nobody has the Skills like Prince. He is Amazing and Nobody is Better than him Onstage! He is very Original and Unique and Fun! I Love watching Him. Nobody does it Better than Prince he's Number 1!

I think he feels most of the songs he sings. That is an important thing for me.

What makes me a Prince fan? His talent, his originality and creativity and his style. I'm really a fan of Prince's work during the 80s decade. I can closely relate with the majority of the songs he was singing, bootlegs/outtakes and all. And after having read different biographies about him, I can relate 2 a lot of the things that was going as he was growing up. Outside of the music I feel that there r many things we have in common and because of that and what he was singing about I feel there r many things I can learn from him.

What makes me a fan? PRINCE!!!

I'm a Prince fan becuz I love his music, and he actually is a real, true honest musician, something that I aspire 2 b.

You see, my mother always listened to Prince ever since I was born (maybe even before that) so I kinda followed her. So, if anything, Prince came to me & I never stopped listening. Hey, what can I say, she knows great music.
