I'm a bit buzzed right now ,so I could be wrong but... the songs sound like they are in different keys so I doubt the lawsuit will ultimately payoff for Plaintiffs.

I think when he sings Girl 6 it sounds just like the 'Phonesex' part tho although its not totally the same.

I would say that they both plagerized the old school song Riding High, besides Prince has very little about him that is TRULY original. My gosh, have you people never watched SuperFly?

Hmm...yeah Stevie and many 70s bands have been a big influence on Prince...listen to 'Black Man' and tell me that P hasn't done a similar song.
In his clothing styles, dress in the past at times he looks a heck of a lot like Hendrix.
Still think Prince is a big innovator too...esp for other artists.

i think those two songs are way too similar to be ignored as plagerism. Cant say i blame Prince for this one it sounds like a deliberate attempt to take an idea twist it a bit and even give it the same feel in the music. doent anyone have original ideas any more?


having said all that there is no comparison in quality. Im glad they ran the phone sex one first because when Princes Girl 6 plays its like listening to first the kindygarten version and then the grown up steps in and shows hows its supposed to be done. lol


that phone sex song is shite and so is the title at least princes title is mysterious then explained within the lyrics but then hey phone sex dont have any lyrics not really.
