Prince on Top of the pops Anybody know how many times he's been on it and if so what songs did he sang. |

He did a couple of average performances in 99 of TGRES and a frighteningly boring 'Baby knows'. At least his 'Pretty Man' performance on TFI around that time helped salvage some credit... |

The Holy River is the ONLY one I recall, actually in the studio for TOTP. Thought 'Baby Knows' was only TFI Friday, cos that deffinataly happened also. | |

it was a show in UK just called TFI Friday,but i think the TFI stood for 'thank fuck it's....' was shown on a Friday night. | |

Was that a live performance or was it when they played the mustang video mix? It was the Mustang Mix performance. Taped at Paisley Park, specifically for TOTP. They also taped Endorphinmachine at the same time, which you can find on the Interactive CD-Rom. TOTP Studio performances: 'Get Wild' (March 1995) 'The Holy River' (Feb. 1997).
