In a sense, the Prince I grew up with died the first time I heard him sing "The Crist" instead of "The Cross". From that moment on he has just seemed like a totally different person. So when he does actually die it won't have anywhere close to the impact that it would have if he would of not became so predictable and watered down.  | |

I could answer with a joke or something...but, being Mexican, we take our death seriously.
Honestly, I would be devastated. Prince is my hero in many ways. I admire his work ethic, his talent, his cool. Of course, Prince's music and career are just a diversion from everyday life. Life still goes on...but I would have a LARGE hole in my soul. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Close to the way I felt 9-11-04 in San Jose CA....the last day of the Musicology tour. The best and worst all at once.....and my close friend took off the night B 4 because our room was too hot?? (and the lack of "action" I guess ) and left me w/out a car and I took this nice gentleman that was driving my cab to the concert instead. We had a great time and I was happy 4 that and so sad for the end of the tour. It was so great to be able to go get a dancing fix and hang with P for the whole summer.....I've never hit the high-end bars in LA. Hanging w/P... that was better than any "Key Club" or Sky Bar". It was my "safe zone" 
Prince will live forever...believe me if Prince goes anywhere he will probably release all that music he has locked up either way.....slowly so that generations 2 come can get to know him.....he's brilliant.....    | |
