I am trying to organize some Prince playlists on my iPod by decades (what a way to spend a dreary, sunless day off ) I only have this song on The Work Volume 5, but does anyone know what year it was recorded? I don't know if it is the late 1990s or early 2000s.

Wrong on both counts. Prince changed the title to "Nothing Left 2 Give" when he recorded it.
