i got a couple of 'prince in bed' stories...just don't get 2 excited...nothing obscene 2 report (unfortunately),
but the other day my son had a game - he plays ice hockey - & my husband mentioned 2 another dad tht we'd got tickets 2 c prince in ireland..

anyway, the other dad who's canadian recalled an incident involving prince..
a girlfriend of his had worked on the american/canadian boarder control when prince tour bus arrived...

the guards were given 12 passports, but could only c 11 people.
at this stage they knew it was prince & entourage, but no sign of prince.
get this!..when asked where the 12th person was, the reply was
'mr prince is in bed - he's alsleep & cannot b disturbed' (awwwww, sweet cute cuddly & warmmmm..)

by all account there was a bit of a stand off cos when someone went 2 prise him from his cosy slumber (sooo mean) prince had demanded the guards
GO 2 HIM!

he eventually realised they wouldn't b going anywhere unless he got outta bed..

i can't believe my hub didn't ask 4 more details..(well i can actually) but i don't know when this was or how long ago.
i wanna know what he was wearing, if anything at all!
u c, i have these visions of him half asleep with a big duvet wrapped around him.
depending on which era, had he dressed 2 the 9's & had he bothered 2 do his hair?
what was his passport pic like?..!
mean & moody no doubt which prob matched his expression perfectly at the time..

the other thing i was gonna mention was i saw some footage 2day from a purple rain concert '85, & prince had just performed 'take me wiv u'.
the revolution were in the final throse of the song, & prince hiked 2 a platform at the top of the stage.
he then tucked himself under a blanket & got himself comfy with pillow & feigned sleep!
it's very funny...he is a bit of a card inne?
then he sprung 2 his feet & hurled himself down a pole. batman himself would've been proud of tht poleage...
