Compare & Contrast PRINCE to your (Other) Favorite Musical Act... I'll go into more detail later but here goes:
Prince: Brilliant, visionary, brave, and multi-talented. Made many many artistic missteps in an effort to stay relevant, but the overall affect of his musical output when given the 10,000 foot view, is brilliant. The Smiths: Clever, great lyrics, and infectious song writing. No missteps that I can think of have been made, however, the breath and scope of their material, as terrific as it is, is dwarfed by Princes. That being said, there are more Smiths songs in my top 20 favorite songs of all time than there are Prince songs. However, trying to have sex to "How Soon is Now" really can be a downer. Your turn
