Song is bangin'. No two ways about it. One of my all time fave cuts by the man. The song is wicked. Especially for a tune that he didn't even come up with the title for. That's a project I TRULY wish P had stayed with...the Camille project.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Me too. It would have been crazy to hear what more could have come out of that project.

Yep. nod I can only imagine the havoc Prince would have raised if there were no ATWIAD or “Parade/UTCM” debacles behind the phenomenal success of Purple Rain. Imagine if, instead, it was more like:

1985- (???)
America
She’s Always in My Hair
Pop Life
Raspberry Beret
Condition of The Heart
The Screams Of Passion
Mutiny
Nothing Compares 2 U
A Love Bizarre

1986
Camille

1987
SOTT, replacing the “Camille” tracks with:
Dream Factory for Housequake
Joy In Repetition for IIWYG
Kiss (or whatever the hell else) for Strange Relationship

lol
I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Love it too, should be heard in it's extended version for utmost nastiness!
Ween covered Shockadelica on their God Ween Satan album and retitled it, L.M.L.Y.P. (Let Me Lick Your p**sy).
Complete with Camille style vocals! It's a great version and i'm sure it's a lovingly homage to Prince as they're big fans.
Cry cry cry i love it when U moan, this funk will cut so deep gonna touch u're soul oh!

I love how tastes differ. To me, Parade was a soul saver, an eye-opener. To see the album described as a debacle is still weird; it features alot of my faves.

On the album, Joy In Repetition is mixed out of We Can Funk, but the original recording has the original intro to the song; some lonely beats, developing into the actual beats; a more proper intro to the song. More fitting.

Prince never released it, but it circulated even before it's official release.
