I mean, I don´t celebrate Christmas either but I love this song and it´s authentic atmosphere and sincerity and sad mood, and the overall down-to-earth feel in it, with swimming in the pool, playing pokeno, drinking daiquiris and skating on the lake. Almost unbelievable that this was really just a fictional song. And Giovanni is right, the only way to listen to this gem is to hear it in its entirety as the 12" version. I don't have the little 35 anymore that I orginally heard it on BACK IN THE DAY. I will have to look for the 12" vinyl. I have heard this a few times, that it is cut short. I don't honestly remember what it is I might be missing in regards to the original and the B-side CD. | |

It's only a letdown if you've heard the original versions. |
