So profound....So much deeper than the lyrics themselves....
In general, Prince is well known for tugging on heart strings, and making them think about love....and I am sure many examples can be listed...if you would like to share your opinion on other songz...

When you look at world history, and the problems it made....U can clearly see the future that can be made with love, forgiveness, and compassion....

Prince music allowz me to believe that with the, "Love We Make..." world history is engraving a road to paradise...because with love...there is only one way left to go...right?....and to add....I love, the "Everlasting Now." for it's adamant faith. Prince is a wonderful brother...spiritually speaking.

'The Love we make'is such a beautiful song and has always been one of my faves, along with 'Still would stand all time' and 'The Ladder'.
These songs get a lot of playtime in my house, because the spiritual message is so beautiful. I absolutely adore the songs that show Prince's spiritual side.

my favorite verse is

precious is the baby with a mother
that tells him that His Saviour is coming soon
all that belive will clense and purify themselves
put down the needle put down the spoon


and of course

sacred is the prayer that asks 4 nothing

easily one of his best. Surprised this isn't a concert regular. Don't you just love his opening vocals on this and the gospel backing.

Don't get me wrong. This is a marvellous song, but it is chock-full of all your latest cliches... Beyond the first two lines of SOTT, I'm struggling to find a 'profound' Prince lyric.

Profound is not what Prince is about. He taps into the here and now, when he's at his best, the zeigeist... very rarely does Prince deal in the abstract.

I guess when music touches your heart it is deep 2 u...I guess it is also by grace that we are allowed to see that beauty in expression.
When Prince talks about our brother's and sister's being in the fall...I remember that by grace, I can know the kingdom of Heaven in my heart...and if somone cannot see that in pieces all over the earth...than, they are still veiled by confusion. I pray for my companions on earth...and Prince is one of the cute onez.
