Nice!, Mani brought out some class in him again.

Well you're a pretty hardcore jughead and poompoom fan i take it, so ill just paraphrase Rick James for you, if during the eighties he was Sesame Street funk, during the 90's he was sesame street funk for the mentally disadvantaged children.

I totally disagree with that, and how in the world could Rick James talk abut anybody, he was the laughing stock of the entertainment industry up until the day he died!

I think Mayte was lovely, but Prince put her out there in a not so nice way. Prince don't want a woman he can't use for HIS benefit, so Mani wasn't having it.

[Edited 3/18/08 6:46am] i've thought the same thing myself..as lovely as she is, & as much as he wanted 2 show her off, it seemed strange tht it was in such a tacky way. i hadn't realised til recently the dancing finished once they married,..he truly was a pimp! having his supposedly virginal fiancee practically flashing her giblets 2 the world

There is no particular place in time that i think was better than another for music , heck I constantly look for good music, today's and from wayyyyy back in the day. Everybody has opinions about music, but the consensus is that he sucked in this particular time. that's just the way it is. And i whole hardly agree with that consensus. There is you graycap and a couple others that dig the poom poom and jughead Prince style, and that's cool but It seems YOU are stuck in the 90's lol...ring rrring, its for you! MC hammer is calling!

MC hammer is calling! let me state this clearly 2 ur thinking cause it seems u never grew up, i appreciate greatly the music of the 70's and 80's but i'm not stuck there. there has been great music since the 80's, including the 90's and this current decade, shall i follow the music of 2day and look at it from a mature aspect? or shall i wish i was still a 20 year old wanting 2 fuck everything in site? naw obviously maturity hasn't kicked u in the ass yet and when it does, boy will u get a rude awaking. man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

RIP [Edited 3/10/08 12:35pm] I just love Aaliyah...may she rest in peace... Life Is What You Make It...

I swore that I would stay out of this but here's the thing..... This is PRINCE you're talking about. He does NOTHING that he doesn't want to do. This is the same man that doesn't allow his wives to call him on the phone. Prince made himself look like as you called it "a whore" not Mayte or anyone else. Prince made himself look as you called it "distinguished/respectful" not Mani or anyone else. I'm not hating or loving on anyone. Just stating the fact that Prince is to blame or praise for what he looks like. Past or present. [Edited 3/18/08 12:46pm]
