I don't think I've been listening to his music long enough to really confine any of them to an emotional category. In fact, it goes far beyond emotion for a lot of them. But I can answer for two albums in recent memory :depending on the song, I was a cross between "overly excited/pumped" to feeling a little "flirtatous" :blush: 
Come: mostly feeling very sad for Prince's situation, but in some cases, uplifted (Space, literally & mentally) and  (Pheromone, Loose!, Letitgo)... but more like a subdued level of enjoyment  had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |
