Honestly I think this section is fairly balanced. I don't know what people expect. It's not like you can't find whatever discussion you want, here or elsewhere.

Some people aren't even really interested in discussing his music. They're just pissy that there are people who call themselves Prince fans and don't jump at the chance to shit on the dude or who actually are really positive about him.

I know that just fucks up some people's worlds, but hey if you hate him go to just about any other space and you'll find plenty of people who feel like you do. If you want to see some real psycho shit go to the few Prince spaces that weren't lost in the Great Lawsuit and it'll be nothing but MJlike stuff.

okay... I've been reading the last couple of days, and I just want to say that I don't understand why those who have been complaining haven't at least posted on the 2 threads I started about memories of the first 5 albums.
If U already have shared your thoughts, I'm sure there are new people who haven't read your ideas/stories/impressions. Those were your chances to talk about Prince's early music.
If U haven't why not? We'd love to hear your thoughts!


***(PP4, I honestly don't recognize that interview U named. I wasn't a fan back then- I might even own it now in my pretty large collection, but sometimes interviews are boring to me & I turn them off. I'll check, and if I do have it I'll listen and post. Fair enough? )

To me, its been complete change since the shut down of the NPGMC forums. This place suddenly packed out with childish idolisers who accuse everyone who dares breath a word against them or Prince as non fams, haters, negatives etc etc.

If you look at some profiles, there are people who will post over 1000 times in a month, yet don't even known half the music.

The love of the music is being replaced the obsession of the man. Everyone to their own, but I think its sad for a site that was once considered THE place to converse about the mans music.
