When Doves Cry
AnotherLoverHoleNYoHead (Had some trouble re-creating both of these..) She's Always N My Hair - Straight Revolution beat, spooky, haunting, and powerful, in the right way.. Something N THe Water 2 (Demo-version with the piano solo and no vocals from Lisa) Mountains Sign O' The Times - The instrumental alone is worth it.. http://www.myspace.com/goldcitymix [Edited 3/7/08 12:11pm]

You got a bit closer! There is something to how those delayed toms go underneath the main kick, snare, and highhat that make it unique.

I never thought of it like that, a Sly influence. Sly always had the beatboxes behind his music too.

I was a obsessed with his drum sounds then and still am now. I was gutted because his reply was, " Man, i don't know WHAT you're talking about!" lol.

Cinnie said: Cheek, you totally get it. "Future Baby Mama" had to be on here too. The aspect of drum programming is one of my main personal draws for listening to Prince. And he is VERY influential to other drum programmers.
Thanks! I'm addicted to his beats! I forgot to mention: Bob George [Edited 3/7/08 23:52pm]
