I don't know what the "Testament" album is, but this morning I listened to one of the 2 Interview discs that I own. As I said previously, interviews tend to be boring.
I woke up early this morning, fished it off the shelf, and crawled back into bed and played it.

If it's the same interview U speak of: After "Dirty Mind"- It was difficult to hear, and Prince contradicted himself a few times. Plus, he was vague about his ethnicity, he talked about not listening to the radio or appreciating older musicians' music only to a degree, he discussed his style of dress and running away from home at 12.
I made it thru the whole thing, but bored

wink

Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

Was that the one that was done in Amsterdam or somewhere in Europe before one of the Dirty Mind shows? I have that one. It was interesting. Kinda boring but interesting to see where Prince was in 1981.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I guess. All mine says is "Interview Picture Disc" on it. I bought it at a record collectors' show a few years ago.

Prince was speaking very softly, and he kept saying how he doesn't want to be like anyone else: that his goal is to sound different, look different, etc.

I was floored when the interviewer asked him what he thought of Jimi Hendrix, and he said, "He's dead, isn't he?" omg
