"one song" : god being centrifugal in nature

"god being centrifugal in nature,
freedom was the cause and choise the effect"

i never quite understood this lyric. i mean, i know what it means, literally,
but how does the one relate to the other.

how does god being centrifugal relate to freedom being the cause and choise
being the effect.

i mean, i take it that by calling god centrifugal he means to say that god is
the center from which all things emanate...

anyone?

God is the source...and If we have the freedom to choose...the choice we make will be the effect on our lives. Don't u suppose?

i know that but what does god's being centrifugal have to do with
freedom being the cause and choice the effect?

does it mean that if god wasn't centrifugal in nature, freedom in
fact would not be the cause and choice not the effect?

in short, why is freedom the cause of god's being centrifugal in
nature?

Snap

by nature, sin leads to death
but in God, and ultimately His sacrifice, we are free
don't let those calvinistic fools make you think any different
our Lord loves freedom, and from the beginning gave us freedom of choice
it's sin alone, and the giving of ourselves over to it, that keeps us in bondage
that's why: the sacrifice

God: the lifesource - its centre is everywhere and circumference nowhere

infinitely emanating from within.

the only freedom we have is in our choice to become the lifesource.

Omnipotent Omnipresence is the Highest Order of True Love.

Seeing inside all - as all is 1 and 1 is all.

the macrocosm and the microcosm - Undivided.

One Song.

To exercise your True Will, is the Perfect Freedom.

Weirdly, I think I am closest to what Prince meant. Whatever it is. I have tried to listen to his preaching, but the man tailors his beliefs as often as his outfits.

I think he wants to put his god in the center of what reasonable people would like to put in the center of human free will. A mind. He says his god gave us free will.

I say thanks! Now bugger off.

Imago

The song is ok I guess.

Great tune, though his voice feels a bit 'off' for me on that one.

But I think you're fucking hot, so I support your threads.

In order to understand you would need to put it in context with what he was talking about. The sentences prior to and after that statement:

Prince said:

Returning the leadership back in2 God will allow mankind 2 achieve its original collective goal which is union with God. Ideas contrary 2 this goal should not b blamed or persecuted - just simply ignored. They originated when man first chose 2 ignore God's rule. Simply put - in the beginning, the Human was made perfect in God's image. They had no need 4 knowledge. They were also given freedom of choice. The Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life r reflections of this freedom. The human is now a reflection of their choice. They could have simply chose not 2 choose. God being centrifugal in nature, freedom was the CAUSE and choice was the EFFECT. In knowing their perfection made in God's image, there was no need 2 choose. In fact, their were NO NEEDS. There was only love in an all-knowing state b4 the fall. The worst thing u can do is give up ur God-given right 2 choose. 4 in it - u can choose not 2 choose. Therein is the final judgement. The illusion ceases and u awaken from ur dream. Now the healing begins...

Basically God being centrifugal in nature, from which all things emmanate, there was no need for freedom, for we are already free. God gifted man with free will (the freedom to choose). Before the fall, perfect in God's image, we had no need to choose either knowledge or Life, for we had both within that perfection, we are already that which we would choose. We could have, with our gift of free will, with our freedom to choose, have chosen to not choose either (knowing we already are perfection). However, due to the freedom we have been gifted with (the cause) we make the choice (effect of freedom ~ cause) to choose knowledge. He is saying basically, that we can experience union with God, that centrifugal nature, by using our freedom to simply choose not to choose neither knowledge nor life. For when we realize our perfection in God's image, we realize there is no need for either, no needs at all, and that we are already that which we think we can choose between. Basically return to the center, choose to not choose, and discover your God-given nature. He's also saying that we are a reflection of our choice. Keep in mind that during the fall, man choose Knowledge, not Life Everlasting. Basically he is saying with that that we have chosen to focus our attention outwards, (knowledge being something that we believe we gain by something outside of ourself) and that we are not living, that we do not focus our attention inwards, towards the centrifugal nature of God, to the source and that by focusing outward, mankind and our world reflects that choice (chaos, destruction, illusion). If this doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll try to explain it in another way.
