Being listening 2 a lot of Prince's 12" singles
these days and this song will stay one of my fav. I listened 2 this one more than the a-side! The funk 7 variations in the song is something U won't hear anywhere else. I don't wanna complain about his later work, but THIS is Prince... Love4oneanother | |

Yeah, I always dug that line. P showed his humour in this track. I like how he puts emphasis on his musicianship as well. He highlights that. Him calling somebody stupid on the track is funny too. The whole "Shut up already ...Damn!" vibe is strong on this. It's a hysteria and a madness element to a lot of P's recordings during the good vs evil period. Starting from a few tracks from Signs, damn near ALL of The Black Album and some from Lovesexy. And it carried over onto parts of Batman. This is my second fave period of P next to his 81-83 period where he was just flat out crazy. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
