Where do I start?..

In addition to his musical/artistic talents, overall it's his passion that I love/respect him for : he is a passionate person - gives himself 100% body and soul to his art.
Also, his love of freedom, his independence, fearlessness, total focus, his brains and innovative mind, his resilience in the face of criticism and setbacks, his embracing change and constant rethinking and reinvention of himself.
In short, for doing exactly what he wants the way he wants it, in other words: for being true to himself.

absolutely. so many people find it easy to resent genius,or even just talent, whether its in music or other things. in their paranoia, they feel small in the company of it, instead of grateful and willing 2 benefit from the gifts such talent can bring them.

i admire hiz,&anyone'z ability,2 stand up in the face of this wide-spread social illness, demand justice,& keep on keeping on no matter what.

U Can't stop Prince,&he's not the only 1.

His dedication to the song above anything else... he'll leave out some amazing guitar or amazing bass playing if he believes the song will be better without it.

So true. How small things may seem, within our best abilities, we all need to choose the right way and not the easy way. Speak our minds even if we are scared to bits and surely no blind following of whoever/whatever, only if it speaks to your heart because then it means it is part of your way of thinking, your system.

Low selfesteem, jealousy, bad eating pattern etc are today's enemy. We all got a long way to go.

It may sound crazy but Prince has given me the last 23 years something extra that makes me feel like Lady Diana, from time to time, filled with love. I can't explain it and I have a very happy life of my own but because of his message, appearance and above all his music, I feel.. I think this is what religious people would call "blessed". A feeling like when I was pregnant, when I got married, when I'm on a holiday, when I look at my kid: happy, content, relaxed, seeing the beauty in lot's of things.

Whoever wants to start with the purple kool-aid, be my guest.

Hi CJ! wave
Prince has also blessed me with his music. After I started listening to his music, I became open-minded, and I willing to make changes in my life. Also, I no longer felt bitter and for the first time in along while I felt relaxed and joyful.

Hi Gyro wave
I don't know how he does it but he's just capable of doing this. He enchants us through the sound beams of his guitar, piano, voice etc. And giving us the eye of course.

Scientology....Musicology..... lol

I rather choose Musicology before I fly away ufo
