There are a bunch of spots in one-night alone, that are incredible...I'm sure Prince's guitar solo's just are what they are when He's playing them, and some of the recorded solo's we are fortunate to hear...Although I bet, nothing compares to Prince live and doing what He wants to do.

All of his songs where he solos are amazing. My answer can be anything really. Morning Papers, Gold, Alexa de Paris, Eye Will, the instrumental version of God. Almost every time he solos I'm amazed
Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

If you want to hear him really rip it up without any distortion or effects on his guitar, I would recommend listening to A Love Bizzare or She Spoke To Me.

and blues in c if i had a harem lovesexy tour from dortmund

on wax

even tho i hate the song but he did rip it on 3 chains o' gold
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I've always thought the man showed incredible restraint on record, which I figured was part of his plan to milk it for an entire career. Somehow he's able to resist the urge to blow his wad everytime he picks up a guitar, which unfortunately is a big problem of mine! lol

Because he wants everything to fit in the mix. He does not want people to focus only on his guitar work. In fact he does not make guitar records apart from The Truth and The Undertaker.

I like what he does on "The Ride" from The Sacrifice of Victor. It's real raw, loud (he walks over to the Marshall half stack amp and turns it way up!) and his chops are in top shape.

She Spoke To Me - The best way to hear a guitarist' Solo abilities is to hear them WITHOUT any effects. This is it.

Computer Blue - Showcases his ability of his Rock Solo chops. Especially the "Hallway Speech" version. Damn.

levi always used a gibson guitar, and that solo sounds like a gibson and it sounds like levi's soloing skills. i'm not saying that it's bad, it's a good solo.
