In a topic before we've said Prince is from the Minniapolis suburbs. But when I was watching a documentary made 10-15 years ago it was saying Prince was from the small african-american ghetto of Minniapolis. It was telling how he said he he'd beg the people at McDnald's for food and they wouldn't give it although he was starving.

North Minneapolis is located on the map below, west of the Mississippi. Prince went to Central High School in South Minneapolis. All of Minneapolis would be considered urban, as it's Minnesota's largest city.

Currently, North Minneapolis is a violent, drug and gang infused, hell hole.
