Having been bought the MJ 25th Anniversary Thriller CD/DVD for Mothers Day, I was amused to hear a heated discussion develop between my h/b and 10 yr old daughter after h/b made the mistake of saying that Eddie Van Halen played the guitar better than Prince!

I thought at one point they were going to come to blows! omg

That's my girl highfive

My 4 year old daughter (just turned 4) has to dance when she hears Prince.

My daughter will jump up and say "Mommy I gotta dance!" and then proceeds to dance like a stripper! eek She will be down on the floor, raises her leg in the air, will get on all fours and shake her butt. I told my husband I draw the line at buying a pole.

My 6 year old son will simply say "Mommy can you turn that down!"

Aaaaaah, I like this one especially. touched dancing jig

My nine year old really wanted to get me a Prince Calendar for my home office last Christmas. Unfortunately she went to every calendar store in every mall in town and finally gave up. She told me they had Justin Timberlake and even Chris Brown but no Prince,so she made a calendar for me with his picture on the front (Planet Earth photo) and a lyric from 12 of my favorite Prince songs. I know she likes Prince's music because she sings it when she doesn't know I'm listening.

My 5 year old daughter loves Prince! I took her to see him at the 02 on 31st August and she currently has Planet Earth on her CD player. I can't listen to the radio in the car any more as she insists that a Prince CD is played - LOUD!

My daughter is 7...and this morning we were just watching the ad on Australia's comedy channel where Steven Colbert dances to Doves Cry...when my daughter suddenly said " Mamma, for some reason I really, really love Prince" Then she shrugged.
How cute is that? lol

And No, I dont constatnly drum Prince into my kids heads lol

WORD! That's awsome! My 14 y/o son was playing "Computer Blue" on his guitar when I got home from work yesterday so I decided to show him some live concert video (Electric Intercourse). He basically grew up on "P", but, I was really surprised when he said, "I think he's the best singer." Although, I don't necessarily agree with that, I must admit It was a very proud moment for me! touched woot! thumbs up!
