Maybe I should have said this... in past years when I have went to Prince concerts it has cost me way more but I don't complain and if I didn't have the money to attend I didn't blame the artist. Also, Prince has written how many ever songs about sex but I don't expect to get that from him either!

A night with Prince...priceless. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I think its over popularity notice how well known singers good and bad seats always have expensive tickets. To get tickets to Janet Jackson, Madonna & Micheal Jackson is expensive 2. I think he does charges too much for seats, but If I can't afford his concert tickets me just not going to go me not going to miss paying bills over him.

Just be lucky he does after shows. Most artist wont even waste there time in small clubs like that. And on top of that I am pretty sure that full $100 is not going into his pocket. Anyways I would rather pay twice as much for an after show then a regular show! Much better, Dam those Studio 54 shows were off the hook!!! I am the Dog Outside Yo Door,

This is not an aftershow, this is another one more concert. I think that most of U here are rich as well or maybe U live in Rotterdam... it's not only 100$ ...it's 100$ MORE... It's all about the money... Money runs the world and Prince too. As I said before, Prince is in the busyness.

It's the only way. Supernova, I'll never do anything against him, never, In spite of he doesn't think of us...I respect him so much...until the end of times. A boycott is not necessary for me, because it's always a pleasure listen to his music, but we have to have a critic attitude too. He's a man, and a wonderful musician, but not a god, so he's not perfect. [This message was edited Sun Oct 27 5:14:04 PST 2002 by mendres]

What I'm saying is that the only way to bring down ticket prices is for MANY, MANY fans in general to not buy them. I know that's not realistic though, because so many people want to see him and will pay that much to do so. Supply and demand is the only reason the ticket prices are still being bought as much as they are, and since people are still buying them, and he's been able to sell out venues, the demand is still there to see him at those prices. Ticket prices for his short American tour were high for some people too, but not too high for enough people to stop buying the tickets. I readily acknowledge that some fans are being left out with those type of prices, all I'm saying is that nothing will change unless many people stop buying them. I think the prices of ONA concerts are expensive. Actually ONA-tour is just a way for Prince to make loads of money, easy earned money, playing similar shows for one month in Europe, a routine job.
I'm sorry, i like the man's music, his shows are ok (not as good as some would like us to believe, he used to b better live, it's all about routine these days) and one of the main reasons is the money. Prince isn't just an artist, i'm sure he's a clever businessman (NPGMC anyone?) 2. If u don't see that, you must b really blind or very naive. Don't forget, he's earning lots of money first and foremost because of his past glory, his older music/work/fame. I guess there are enough idiots who think he's some kind of god or something but let's get real, he isn't. He is a great musician/singer/songwriter but he likes money 2 much, it's that obvious.

I think not!! An artist like Prince, coming to hang at your club after his concert, where he may perform, he would attract ++people, and you're going to charge his ass money for coming??? That's the most fucked up business move a club owner would ever make. I imagine that most celebs get free rides at most places they go to because of the free publicity that comes from it all. My

until I can avoid tickets (whenever it'll be) I have my walky radio. What else can I do? Doon't do worry and do the best till it's done!
Artists can do choice theyr fans like this. And real is, I feel unloved from him as fan. So should I care?

well, I dont' know if someone of U knows waht Prince said last nite in Copenhagge...All this seems a joke,
read and think aout this... ""A lot of people asked Prince about the expensive ticketprice for the second Paris concert. Prince countered it with a question: Isn't Rhonda allowed a bonus ? He actually answered it by telling how many crew he had and that people shouldn't go to somemany concerts if it is 2 expensive.""

but nobody has the guts 2 get this out . Yeah we could go on strike, lol! I'm not rich myself. This is just about the choises you make. It's like choosing to go to a one of the best restaurants for a diner and not go out eating for another 2 years, if you ain't got too much money to spend. Afterall he's very good at his profession and he knows people will pay the price! If he's using the extra money to give his crew members a bonus, then that's fine with me; they have a hard job -even if they love it- just go figure and think about it; they deserve some extra cash, since they don't have regular jobs. By the way, why would people bother to go see 5 or more shows across Europe. I've heard people say that! Yeah that's really too much for your wallet! Well, so far so good; let's not bother our minds too much. In the end we will know if he's trustworthy. We ALL are MUCH RICHER than we think we are. So, let's all be brilliant and shine our light upon him as one big family. Keep the faith. May you live to see the dawn Prince. [Edited 7/29/06 10:31am]
