Money isn't everything but the lack of it, is!

$100 of anything is too much when you don't have it.

Rather you have the money or not, the point is paying twice in one nite and paying for the aftershows when we never had to is too much to expect from the fans, I will never pay twice in one nite.

Can you realize that he was performing basically 3 shows for the price of 1? He wasn't making as much as he could and he was probably paying for the clubs himself. Really, now he has to make something when he tours are you people who are complaining about him being Greedy for Money crazy or What?

Well hell, $20 is too much when you don't have it, for that matter...

I hear y'all though. The most I've ever paid for an aftershow is $30 (w/ membership). But I hear this is an additional CONCERT, not an aftershow. If that's the case, you don't HAVE to see the same show twice in one night. Just a thought...
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

Tell me what is your limit for a show??? his shows are priceless but we are living now in a economic recess and not everybody can pay all that money each time, he should know that his music reaches all layers of society not only the rich like you!!!

TRUE,But Work and you'll have it. Prince is so damn generous bending over backwards and he's not a welfare case or Charity . Sorry if some of his fans can't afford his shows and everything, but he can't do everything for Nothing! I have always Worked my Ass Off for Everything I got so I Never expected anything for Nothing. I don't Depend on My Parents or Anything I worked for it and I worked Hard! Very Hard!

Well you are not paying for two shows in one day.
The show will start after midnight so that is techincaly the next day - Get your facts straight.
this is a separate concert - not an aftershow

Well, seeing that I payed $125 USD for ONA, I'd say it's somewhere around there. And I'm not rich by the way - rich is paying $5,000 for 2 tix to a Giants game! Not me, a dude I saw on the news. rolleyes

I could see if this was an aftershow, but it's ANOTHER CONCERT. You people have gotten off cheap if you only paid $39 for the first show. Nobody's making you go, you don't have to be greedy (though I understand your anguish). Better borrow some $.

100$ isn't bad???
ok, I come from Spain, so... 270$ (flight) + 50$ (room per nite) + 50$ (premium ticket) + about other 50$ (for other expendidures) and NOW 100$ more (the 2nd concert) ... total: 470$ only 4 one nite ...
Tell me, do U think it isn't bad yet? Prince must think of the people who doesn't live there in Holland. 100$ is too much for many of us. 2 be in one of his concerts is becoming only a question of how big is your wallet, that' not good for the music, it became a busyness, not Art.

Supply and Demand. Imagine how much more difficult it would be 2 accomodate every1 if his shows and music club were that much more cheaper. I don't agree with the high prices either. That's why I feel Prince should drop or alter the club so things wouldn't seem like a $ issue all the time.

well your all complaining and eye see your points.eye 2 think its getting 2 much $.but why don't we all just refuse 2 pay anything anymore untill we get what's been promised.why is there nobody saying this at the soundcheck or afterparty right in his face.why don't we all turn our backs 4 acouple off minutes at the soundcheck 2nd november.a little strike will not be a bad thing.and tell him tis is all getting 2 much 4 our wallets and that the npg club is borring and not good this year.
but nobody has the guts 2 get this out .

I wouldn't have any problem to ask him why tickets are so expensive, I've talked with him once,
In fact, if I'd have the chance to talk to him it'd be the second thing I'd ask him. The first it would be, What's wrong with Spain?.
He should understand it.

Going to a concert is not exactly a neccesity. If you have the money fine, if not it's a bummer but it is nobody's fault.
I'm an org elitist... totally unapproachable.

Of course it's not a neccessity, and of course if U go to a concert is only because U want to do it, that's right, but U can't complain about the music busyness, talk about love, peace... and then ask this kind of prices.
In the End...he is in the busyness too...it's a shame

I think $100 is fine for a club that offers 4 Prince cds that are not going to be found anywhere else legally. That's of course, if that is actually what is being offered. This probably now won't be the case with One Nite Alone Live being given as the last 3 CDs of this year's membership. Of course, he'll probably throw Xenophobia our way and get away with it again.

I also think offering Prince club members with the opportunity to purchase the best seats in the house, as well as provide access to soundchecks, afterparties and the exciting possibility of an aftershow is very cool indeed. However, some of these prices that Prince is selling tickets at is becoming difficult to stomach. Additional $100 in London compared to a much more reasonable $39 in Paris. Some US shows were $125 for club members.
