YES
TRC was put out on vinyl. I have a copy. It is real nice. Big booklet. I have never played it backwards though... "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"

I keep looking for this at good record stores in Detroit and Chicago and can't find it anywhere. They usually have everything I'm looking for too.

You'd think it would be available at NPG or is that way too easy. ---------------------------------

Vinyl. Heh heh, good one.
Oh...you're serious. Just listen to the CD through a cheap pair of speakers. If that's the sound you're after. Actually, the vinyl version is a double platter set. you should be able to find it on the web. Try a google search... If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

If u listen t TRC on cd and on LP back 2 back u'll notice that the Lp has better sound... You do have 2 have good equipment though.. Vinyl has a warmer sound 2 it! had 2 get this outta my system.. I even have a vinyl version, and I'm from Belgium. Most of the time, a small amount is imported in Europe, you just have to know where to get it!
I'm still looking for Symbol, Come and The Gold Experience on vinyl. Those are nowhere to be found anymore (at least here in Belgium). Antoon. 555-4444 you're on coffee talk.

I have heard this argument sooo many times. I have an exceptional turntable and stylus. True, there is a notable sound difference. Warmer? Maybe... maybe not. I prefer the clean warm sound that my high-end DA converter provides from my compact discs. You can have the best phono set-up in the world, but the sound quality on vinyl can vary greatly even on two of the same platters pressed at the same plant. Vinyl tooling wears out. For me, there are just too many variables involved in getting that "perfect" sound field when playing back vinyl. Turntable speed should be calibrated, downforce can vary from the outside of the record to the inside, dust, finger oil, wobble, record thickness, etc. Not to mention, a record starts to wear out as soon as it's played for the first time. The CDs and players of old left a lot to be desired, but great advances in digital to analog converters and the format itself have pretty much sold me on it. I just wish CD artwork didn't have to be so damn small. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
