i know that many of you die hards don't like his outtake albums, but i love "old friends" especially 4 that bassline on "she spoke 2 me".....

very album . it. especially it's about that walk, sarah, extraordinary. there is lonely . i don't mind this take on the title track, but the original is so much better. i loved (this version) when i first heard it, but when i heard the original version i was like , a classic . the album IS tight, though, doesn't get enough love .

I wont comment on this album, except to say the original version of "old friends 4 sale" is one of my Fav songs ever and the album version does it no justice.

I always forget whether it's version 1 or version 2 (NOT the one officially released ) but those vocals towards the end... spinetingling.

Has anybodu realized that when Prince is inspired by a song...even to give it a girl's name...that it goes through changes of awareness?

There is a strange twist in a song or poem that was at one time written in the now...and it is many days passed.

I am trying to say that Prince's music carries changes as the years go by...I think must differently about Rasberry Beret today, than I did at the time...84'
