First of all, it's frustrating to me that Prince.org mods just think that they can lock my topic because "We do this when the discussion is getting "out of hand," or just so far off topic, it'd be better continued in another new thread." My topic was NOT far off topic, it WAS the topic. This thread talks about ET reporting the issue and ET will always let the entertainer have their say, whether it is a LIE or not because they are ENTERTAINMENT reporters and being buddies with the entertainers is there thing. Look, I love Prince just as much as any other person on here and care about his well-being and PRIVACY. But, When KSTP reported the hip surgery on their morning news, I felt that it was something that should have its own topic, NOT to be buried amongst the posts in this thread. THAT is why I made my own post. But, apparently, the moderators feel that they can censor anyone they feel like, as "off-topic" even if the report comes from a well-respected ABC local MPLS affiliate who I happen to know would NEVER say anything on-air that wasn't given to them as the TRUTH. And not only that, other news channels and papers have reported the same story as they TRUTH. So either we are going to have a bunch of people having to run some retractions to what hey have previously reported, OR Prince really is going under the knife. Either way, I wish Prince all the best and I HOPE that isn't true. Hip surgery is really hard on the body and can have many complications. I'm sure that Prince will have the best doctors and care though, so I'm confident he can pull through it all. But if it is true (which I believe it is) I will pray that he heals quickly and the new hip performs well. That way, he can get back to making great music and performing his phenomenal shows for us. | |

you raise some very valid points but it's better suited for site discussion...i strongly suggest you copy and past this post in that forum for the mods to review, ponder, consider and reflect. Space for sale... | |

This is just useful information from my experience...I have no clue what Prince's bones look like....I just listen in here...and I never know what to believe....Prince could be a virgin for all I know.
First of all, a 40 year old cannot behave as if we were twenty...no matter how hard we try to prove that to ourselves...such as I did...dancin' and walking 5 miles every other day on the beach...and then to top it off...sprinting through the water...I tore myself up...on top of having a job caring for an elderly woman, and having to participate in lifting her into a chair becuz she had suffered a stroke on one side. I literally had problems all over...I don't wanna get into it...and I hve healed for the most part as of 5 months later. From my wrists, through my neck, my hips, down to my ankles...I could barely shave. About a month into falling apart, I could barely walk and I was certain I was walking around on a fracture....I went to the emergency room for x-rays...which the Doctor refused...saying He knows, I don't have a fracture by the fact that I could walk at all...and said that the bursae around the joints filled with synovial fluid for motion..can become inflamed....and that is what it was...althogh I refused to believe it and went for x-ray's anyway with an orthopedic...and sure enough...although I was limping, there was nothing wrong with my bones...and now I only feel pain if I have been standing over 6 hours. So....Prince's x-rays have the answer...and I will alwayz pray for Prince's health, as well as all of yours....Try not to act twenty, if your forty...or else you'll be 70 overnight for 6 months. A DJ in Dallas commented on the radio today that Prince's girlfriend, whoever she is, said that Prince is needing hip surgery. Now why would they say that on the radio if its not true that he is in pain? The DJ didn't mention who the girlfriend was... |

It's already going-on over in Europe and Asia.. It's just a matter of time before the religious elite will accept them in The U.S. When it is annouced that new organs, knee cartilage, teeth, eyes, hair can be speed-grown, and replaced wihin 6 months, they will accept it. I am not for it, but I have relatives who are struggling with physical disabilities. It will be their choice to make once this technology is accepted. It will be a difficult decision indeed. | |
