I just recently got the The Hits/B-Sides Prince compilation. Now I am interested in creating my own mix with Prince's best material post-93 (because that's when this GH came out). Can somebody help me with that and what songs should be included? Thank you.

1994 through 2008, is fourteen years of compilation to sort through...If you close your eyes and choose two songs from each cd...You are sure to have a great cd.

i've been trying to sort one of these out for years, vascilating between 1 and 2 discs, trying decide on edits (official ones or my own) or full length versions.

the ones that were pushed as singles in any way, shape, or form, are obvious contenders. but that still leaves some room, and so much of the other stuff is a lot better, so i run into trouble trying to pick what to include.

last time i worked on it was July. at a certain point it becomes such a difficult task that i just have to quit on it.

By that rationale, we shouldn't include any songs prior to him changing his name back from the symbol, since those aren't "Prince" songs either.

Of course it gets a little tricky after Rave, but this seems like the easiest way to do it. If you're feeling dissatisfied with that maybe add and extra disc of album tracks to catch some of your favourite non singles.

My list is too long to post.

I have tried to do this for myself.

What would be easier for me to compile are the songs I rarely listen to.
There are a small number of songs I do not listen to.

Ironically the songs that usually end up on the many "hits" cds that Warner's keeps putting out are not what I listen to on an ongoing basis from my Prince collection.

I may do this on my Ipod so i can have a long stream of fun music
