Oh my. Org has descended into LaLa-Land. Common. The Grammies are not really a recommendation for good music, as the Oscars are not always reflective of what the best movie was in a certain year.
That said, then most of Prince's music of the last decade is eligable for a Grammy! As most his 'projects' were half-arsed and weak, most his single choices whack and his promotion for stuff, well, absent, except maybe Planet Earth as free give away to promote some concerts, which was ace, in it's own right. That would be worthy of the grammy for "Best Promotional Stunt To Sell Out A Series Of Sell Out Concerts By A Has-Been Artist" I'd vote for Prince for sure then. |

The Rainbow Children (2001) Classic musicianship at its finest. Best Instrumental Album C-NOTE (2003) Funky and Empty Room is no instrumental. Bonus! Best Internet Album Crystal Ball (1998) Lots of fun songs I'd never heard before. And it contains Days of Wild. Bonus! Best CD/Promo Single Days Of Wild (2002) Just as funky as Erotic City, Head and everything else funky. All versions of this song stand out.
Best Internet Single Days Of Wild (2002) Ditto. Best Boxset Ultimate (2006) Finally got the 12" on CD...they sound AWESOME! Best Compilation CD Crystal Ball (1998) Ditto. Best Music Website NPG Music Club (2001-2006) Censored, but lots of places to go. Best Music Video Black Sweat (2006) Nice. Best DVD Live At The Aladdin Las Vegas (2003) Funky and great playing.
