just been listening to this, forgot how much a good song it is (on a much underrated cd - even though it did ok in the charts looking on wikipedia, reached 14th in uk charts, not bad for a relatively little known album).

but listening to it, it could have made an immense nu-metal song, something prince could have added to his list of covered genres; after all, parts of the cd are an experiment in rock sounds...further adding a nu metal influence wouldnt have gone amiss; i could imagine korn doing this song easily (even simply leaving it as it is)

It's a great song. I love when he's kinda pissed off like this. This song gets a ton of play on my iPod at the gym.
