i saw it for 5 pounds in a shop in glasgow Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Ever since diamonds & pearls it took only a few weeks after release of a new prince album ,to find that same album in the extra cheap for sales corner at my cd-store.
Because i was always one of the first to buy an album when it was out ,i have been dissapointed many times. Nice for the followers ,not for the leaders.

I know what you mean. I know a place localy that sells it for $9.99 (US). At one time it was on sale for $6.99. I was almost tempted to buy every copy to try to sell them for a profit.

You should see the prices in England.
A general album can cost between £11.99 and £13.99, probably about $20? We get ripped off on the CD scene. TRC now retails for £20 and I've seen Crystal Ball for up to £55 You guys out in America get a bargain compared to over here! http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

Those $9.99 copies have a hole punched in the bar code on the back and should be in the bargain bins. Many shops sell these in the normal 'rock/r&b' section, but i don't think they're supposed to.
Either way, those are likely left-over copies EMI wanted to get rid of. I used to see Graffiti Bridge and ATWIAD in the bargain bins quite often.

I've seen "Emancipation" being sold for a mere £1.5! 3CDs of quality music for your pleasure. Actually they had huge stocks of the album that they were practically giving away everywhere. In fact you'd be a sucker for paying more than 6£ for the album even these days.
Not that it wouldn't be worth it. In my opinion, it's worth at least a few quids more!
