If A Girl Answers Don't Hang Up ?uestion Hey Everyone,
Really Quick question. Is that Prince or Morris day playing the girlfriend on that song. I know the time played on the album. I always assumed it was Prince but the more I listen the more it sounds like Morris day. I know there (spoken) voices can be similar at times. "Thinking like the Keys on Prince's piano, we'll be just fine"

Tricky is very similar to Cloreen Baconskin. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Tricky was credited to The Time, but it was Prince doing the song. Grace was a continuation of 777-9311. It's mostly Morris doing an interview with a television reporter (which I'm not sure if its Vanity or Susan or someone else) with the guys laughing in the background (P included). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Nope. It's Prince. I think your confusion comes from the track being listed as a collaboration with Terry (it was his bass line IIRC).

Also Vanity and Brenda bites off of Teena's rap in "Square Biz" which came out in 81. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Also Vanity and Brenda bites off of Teena's rap in "Square Biz" which came out in 81. true, and unique for the time not that I see anything wrong with it either for the same reason, Joni called him a hybrid songwriter he just needs not give others a hard time for doing the same with his sound
