 The other 2 shows and aftershows I went alone ( but met really nice P fams  and had a blast!)and he was very understanding as plane tix+hotel were far from being cheap.I've told this before, but when I was engaged a few years back during the Musicology Tour, my EX-fiance told me, when I asked him to go with me: "No, and U shouldn't either. It's a "waste of money"  Well, I went twice w/o him (in NJ)!! 
However, he was playing in Philly ON MY BIRTHDAY, so I TOLD him I was going: "I wasnt to spend my birthday at a Prince concert, and I want to spend my birthday with my fiance, so I guess U're coming." 1) I had to buy both tickets; because of that "will call" process, we ended up in the 2nd row on the side Prince faced! 
2) That @$$ stood with his arms folded all night like he was bored. At one point, Prince told the crowd to act like they came to party. I SWEAR to this day he was talking to him!!! 
3) He picked a fight with me on the way home back to NJ because he said that I showed more emotion at the show than I did the night he proposed! 
NEVER AGAIN will I take a guy to a Prince concert- if I ever get the chance to go to another one!  wow thats too bad....you took the wrong guy Its real hard to go see Prince in concert and not get what the fuss is about Dance... Let me see you dance | |

The Time opened for him that night.  you should have been with me and my brother on the 24th of august 2007 at the O2, was so nuts that the people who were behind us, thanked us for the show we put on, was funny coz we only copped this next day before the 25th concert,when we were chatting about the show the night before. I was telling my brother about this girl i was talking to who said she enjoyed watching us as much as the show, and my brother had been chatting to friends of hers that basically said the same thing. Oh Well, P was probably right that night when he pointed in our direction and said the freaks are on this side If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Thanx Blackshowman for this thread, one of the best i have read in ages, I think my PR dvd will be coming out this weekend, especially after the BG interview. As for my ex GF´s, I think most of them were jealous of P in the end, especially around concert time, but then again, I had to suffer as well, either listening to The Corrs or having to watch Matrix and Lord of the Rings films back to back If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.
